The Holiday Season is in full-effect and that means celebrity holiday special appearances are coming in heavy! Recently Michelle Obama discussed her favorite holiday traditions on The Jennifer Hudson Show and Michael B. Jordan visited Sesame Street to celebrate Kwanzaa with Elmo, Grover and more of the muppet family.
The scene opens with Elmo, Tamir, Gabrielle and Michael B. Jordan setting up for the first night of Kwanzaa with all the pieces needed; the Mkeka (mat), the kinara, the muhindi (corn), fruits and the kikombe cha umoja (unity cup). Jordan explains that this 7 day holiday is a time to celebrate African-American history and culture with family and friends. Speaking of family, two special guests join in as the umoja meaning unity (black) candle is lit to start Kwanzaa!
